Today's letter - no marriage, no kids

Dear Governor Schwarzenegger -

Why do the Opponents of Equality say same-sex couples should not marry because they can’t have kids, then try to pass legislation banning them from having kids?

Mike Duke, the CEO of Wal-Mart, the world's largest grocery retailer, signed a petition to put the anti-gay adoption ban on the ballot in Arkansas. Then voters turned that into a law.

California is headed the same way. We already have a government that meddles in my marriage, and a Republican Party Platform that says that Homosexuals should not be able to adopt children.

Governor, I wish you would do more to fix this apartheid of freedom and dignity. California needs every family fully participating in our economy and society.
